I made this out of a photo of a flag and a picture i took of a marijuana plant last summer in Jamaica. I believe in de-criminalization of marijuana so that good responsible people can have the freedom to enjoy a plant that is smoked and enjoyed for ages by countless cultures from the American Indians to the Sherpas of Nepal to modern Europeans. Legalization will also eliminate the crime and violence associated with the black market in exactly the same way it did with the probition of alchohol during the 20's and 30's. Over $19 billion dollars was wasted on the war on drugs last year thats about $600 per second. That money could be used to help feed the starving, help tsunami victims or even stabilize Iraq and bring those people back to thier feet it can be used in any countless number of better ways instead of being flushed down the drain. I'm also afraid of these tobacco companies that will start mixing weed with nicotine and other chemicals. Weed is best smoked alone... I think. (No, I don't smoke weed. I don't want to dull my own senses.)
All that said, I hope the weed stigma is dulled, and that it is not abused... by tobacco companies.
Hee... this reminds me of this entry's "General Problems with the English Language" subsection... A sample: "All the sudden there was a bong."
